Alcosta was founded and is managed by Erick Ormsby, a highly respected securities analyst and portfolio manager. He was also author of The Alcosta Growth Report, a monthly investment publication that was recognized for its excellence by the Hulbert Financial Digest, an independent rating service and a division of MarketWatch, Inc., a subsidiary of Dow Jones & Company, Inc.

Erick Ormsby’s extensive background in financial services includes positions as a securities analyst and member of the portfolio management team at Insight Capital Research and Management, and as a registered financial consultant at Merrill Lynch. His lifelong interest in investment management began at an early age. While a student at University of California at Davis, for example, he finished in the top ten in the U.S. Investment Championship, which helped to finance his degree in managerial economics.

Professional credentials aside, the assets that make Erick Ormsby unique as an investment advisor are his decades of experience – in both good and bad markets – and ownership of Alcosta Capital Management. As founder and owner of the firm, Erick is driven by the two goals that best serve investors: performance and accountability.
